Throughout my career, I have taken every opportunity to further my training and hands-on experience so as to better represent my clients. I have received extensive training on basic law enforcement procedure and traffic stop investigation techniques through attendance and participation in instruction in Advanced DUI Detection Seminars offered at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. I have also completed the DataMaster Breath Test Machine Operators Course, the only approved South Carolina breath testing device, in addition to attending and successfully completing DUI Defense Strategies Seminars taught at the National College for DUI Defense at Harvard University. For the first four years of my legal career, I also worked with state Highway Patrol officers to prosecute DUI/DWI cases.
These experiences have uniquely prepared me to effectively and successfully argue for the exclusion of critically important evidence through the critical assessment of any evidence that a DUI/DWI prosecutor will attempt to use against any person charged with DUI/DWI.
